Announced Layoffs!

Many companies will report quarterly profits during this upcoming earnings season. However, don’t be deceived, their revenues and sales are down from last year. A majority of companies have been able to trim the fat and cut down on operation costs.

Announced layoffs for the following companies:

• Sam’s Club – 1500 jobs
• UPS – 1800 jobs
• AOL – 1200 jobs
• Pfizer – 680 jobs
• Alcoa – 145 jobs 
• NBC – 2 jobs (Leno/Conan!!!)
