March Unemployment Rate 9.7%

Bureau of Labor Statistics: Press Release

Nonfarm payroll employment increased by 162,000 in March, and the unemployment
rate held at 9.7 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

A few things to keep in mind:

• Employment Peaked in December 2007
• Worst Recession Since WWII
