<p>Brief Summary:</p>
<p>Upside</p>
<ul>
<li>In 2009 Boeing delivered 481 commercial jets, 29% increase from the year before.</li>
<li>Boeings backlog is strong with 3,375 planes</li>
<li>Boeing delivered 372 737’s and the majority of the backlog orders consists of 2,076 737&#8242;s.</li>
</ul>
<p>Downside</p>
<ul>
<li>Net orders declined from 662 in 2008 to 142 in 2009, as a result of economic conditions and internal problems. Specifically, in regards to the 787 delays.</li>
<li>Boeing cut production of the 777, delivered 88 planes</li>
</ul>
